Picture Books Are Fantastic!

Happy Valentine's Day Reader!

The countdown is now!

If you missed it last week, my courses are coming.

If you have ever wrestled with the challenges of active, distracted students, or with students with ADHD in the classroom, then I hope you will check in for the next few weeks as I share the progress as I prepare to launch.

The workbook is done, and I am reviewing the draft copy for each video. Soon I will be ready to video.

More updates to come . . .!

I have always loved books. School holidays always included a weekly trip to the library with my children, stacks of second-hand books were a part of every celebration, and the first thing my kids grabbed when Christmas decorating was the books.

My classroom also had so many books, and more were added for each holiday season. When teaching on social-emotional learning books were my favourite tool for communicating a topic. Well-written books also have fantastic art.

Yep, I love books. It is not a surprise, then, that books are my favourite way to support students who are experiencing grief or loss, and that is the topic of this week's blog post and video.
